A neighborhood landmark is illuminated Mr. Boh sign that hangs high old National Bohemian brewery. The brewery was founded in 1885 and was closely linked to Baltimore a strong German-American community. The brewery was famous for its National Bohemian brand (known as natty boh Baltimorese), as well as its National Premium Beer, Colt 45 malt liquor, and to establish the country's first six-pack as the 1940s. Natty boh old brewery site has been converted into 737,000 square feet of commercial and office space. Adjacent areas will undergo redevelopment as residential apartments and lofts.
